Modernization of the locker system at the RhB Samedan station

The RhB station Samedan has extensively modernized its locker system. The new system now offers the same advanced features as the lockers in Scuol-Tarasp and other modern RhB stations.

Highlights of the new locker system:

  • Standardized operation: The new payment station corresponds to the uniform operating concept of the RhB stations in Davos Dorf, St. Moritz, Thusis, Arosa, and Scuol-Tarasp, recognizable by the gray lockers and red payment stations.
  • Diverse payment options: In addition to coin payments, card payments and Twint are now also possible to make usage even easier.
  • Keyless solution: Instead of a key, users receive a QR code on their receipt, which grants access to the locker.
  • Loss Security: In case of loss of the receipt, the RhB staff on site can issue a duplicate for a small fee, ensuring access to the luggage remains guaranteed.

This modernization significantly improves the comfort and user-friendliness of the locker system. The installation was carried out quickly and efficiently thanks to a solution-oriented collaboration among all parties involved.

We thank everyone who contributed to the successful implementation of this project and are pleased to offer travelers at Samedan station this improved service.
