1995
Unternehmensgeschichte
Christine und Markus O. Krapf gründeten 1995 in CH-8363 Bichelsee die Einzelunternehmung INTECH-KRAPF. Neben dem technischen Handel mit herkömmlichen Produkten für die industrielle Automation hat sich das Unternehmen immer stärker Richtung Vertrieb von Kommunikations-, Sicherheits- & Industrietechnik entwickelt. INTECH-KRAPF hat sich erfolgreich mit dem Vertrieb von Eigen- und Fremdprodukten für die Störmelde-, Fernwirk-, Steuerungs- und Datenkommunikationstechnik auseinandergesetzt.
1998
Intech-Krapf won the tender renewal of the SBB. With the TBOX, the control for the turnout heaters for SBB could be supplied and installed in Switzerland.
1999
The existing infrastructure in Bichelsee became too small. Larger premises were found and moved into CH-8362 Balterswil. There was enough space for the office, warehouse and technical laboratory. Due to the new spatial and personnel possibilities, Intech-Krapf also worked internationally for special customer projects.
2000
Intech-Krapf was involved in the ticketing project for the Autostadt, D-Wolfsburg. Thanks to our flexibility, the Autostadt opted for our system and we were able to deliver the complete ticketing made by Intech to Wolfsburg.
2001
The company Schlaefli AG joins the Intech company. Schlaefli AG is a Swiss company with international work. For over 40 years, security, access and communication systems have been manufactured and sold. In many countries, transport companies, banks, administrations, industrial, sports and amusement systems are the locations of Schlaefli products. The highest quality and absolute reliability are at the top of the company philosophy. Christine and Markus O. Krapf take over the management of Schlaefli AG. From this point on, the entire work will be carried out by Intech employees. Together with partner companies, Schlaefli plans, manufactures and install complete cash systems, gatekeeper lodges, personal and material locks, also with high safety requirements
The first Cash Corner is put into operation in Burgdorf. The external Bancomat was developed and produced in cooperation with the Bancomath manufacturers.
2002
2003
The Aktiengesellschaft Intech-ICS AG was founded from the individual company, which has taken over all tasks of the former company 100%. The new company is still fully family -owned.
2004
Zurich Airport also opted for our luggage compartments. In 2004 the first lockers at Zurich Airport were opened to the international visitors.
2005
The management of Intech took over the entire stock package from Schlaefli AG. She went into family ownership of Christine and Markus O. Krapf. The Schlaefli business seat was moved by Hergiswil / NW to Balterswil / TG.
2006
2007
The world's first chilled lockers installed Intech ICs in Sihlcity.
2009
The canteen in the Raz Herzogenbuchsee was equipped with a lifting window at the food edition.
2009
At Zurich Airport, the personal locks were delivered and installed for the staff.
2011
The first rental bank container was developed by Intech-ICs. It can be rented so that banking operations can be kept upright at conversions of the bank.
2013
With the growth of the company, the premises in Balterswil became too tight. After a long search for suitable rooms, we found it. The office workstations were recessed in the neighboring village in Wallenwil. New warehouses have been added in Balterswil.
2014
The tunnel monitoring of the VBZ was realized by us.
2015
The SBB relies on our know-how! The latest generation of the lockers for the SBB were put into operation at the Geneva location.
2016
The 100th mobile bank was placed in Couvet. Especially drive-in version.
2018
The founding couple Krapf are now enjoying their well-deserved retirement. The INTECH team would like to thank them for their tireless efforts. A successor has been found. Gunnar Hubmann and Christian Böhlen, two long-standing employees, are taking over the business. They want to continue to run the company according to the motto “stay true to the roots and grow healthily”.
All employees stayed and were taken on by the new management.
The names INTECH and SCHLAEFLI will now disappear from the logo. Everything will be under the name INTECH-ICS.
The largest SBB locking system was installed in Zurich.

2022
We also go to construction sites that are difficult to access.
In December, a lifting window was transported to a remote location and installed by INTECH-ICS AG. The lifting window glass was specially manufactured for the specified height.
The transport could only be carried out thanks to excellent coordination by all those involved.
Since July 1st, 2022, Fabrikstrasse 2 can be found in CH-8360 Eschlikon.
2023
We are at the Suisse Public in Bern for the first time.
