What does based on
If a complete component, which consists of several individual components, has not been tested as a unit, it will never receive a certificate. This results in the addition “based on” in front of the classification. This means that all individual components can have a certification, but have never been tested (burned, shot at or broken into) in conjunction with one another. Thus, especially in the case of public buildings, the construction must be submitted to the responsible authorities or the insurance company for approval. This varies from canton to canton.
