New locking facility in the train station Zug
SBB CFF FFS and INTECH-ICS AG have been working on the new locker systems for customers for years. The latest locker system is now in Zug station.
Customers can deposit their luggage – whether small or large bags – centrally at the station (at the taxi stand). The lockers are operated centrally via a payment point. In addition, specially developed lighting with pigeon protection is in use.
It accepts CHF coins and the most common credit cards. A big advantage is that the lockers can be operated without a key. A receipt is created with a QR code that can be used to reopen the selected locker.
If a ticket is lost, there is no need to replace the lock, but SBB employees have the option of printing a duplicate for a fee so that the customer can redeem their luggage again.
