New lockers in Bad Ragaz
On November 2, 2020, after just one setup and training day, the municipality of Bad Ragaz was able to take over the new locker system at the train station in the railway underpass.
Customers can now store their luggage – whether small bags, skis, or even golf bags – centrally at the train station. The 13 lockers of various sizes were assembled according to the municipality's wishes.
The lockers are managed centrally via a payment terminal. It accepts CHF and Euro coins. A significant advantage is that the lockers operate without keys. A receipt with a barcode is generated, which can be used to retrieve the selected locker. In case of a lost ticket, there is no need to change a lock; instead, the municipality of Bad Ragaz has the option to print a duplicate for a fee, allowing the customer to retrieve their luggage.
