LIN Extreme Environment Displacement Transducer

These measurement transducers are used for distance/position measurement. They perform an accurate position measurement of the movement of the armature (the sliding part) relative to the body of the displacement transducer.
The LIN differential inductance LVDTs are inductive (similar to an LVDT sensor), and since there is no contact across the sensor element, they are very robust. The LVDTs are available in either non-guided or spring-return versions.
This sensor is suitable for position measurement applications with high temperature, high pressure, and high nuclear radiation. Many applications in turbines, in nuclear power plants, and in research laboratories are suitable for this sensor.
