Hammerglass-Reflect mirrors are made from unbreakable safety mirror glass and provide optimal protection against vandalism. These unbreakable glass solutions are extremely robust in the areas where they are installed. They help reduce costs that can be caused by vandalism or damage. Thanks to the nanotechnological surface treatment, they are resistant to most chemicals. Cleaning the Hammerglass mirrors can be easily done with most common cleaning agents without causing damage. These mirrors are ideal for public restrooms, changing rooms, sports facilities, elevators, prisons, and psychiatric departments.

Light mirrors with or without frame

Hammerglass-Reflect mirrors weigh only 1.2 kg/m² per mm thickness, which is only half the weight of conventional glass. With such a low glass weight, a 6 mm thick glass weighs only 7.2 kg/m². This low weight allows the mirrors to be handled without heavy lifting and also enables secure adhesion to the desired surface even in larger formats.

Wall-mounted mirror glass

The design possibilities are virtually limitless. The mirror safety glass can be cut to custom sizes and into any desired shape. The low weight simplifies the handling of larger glass sections.Standard sizes are also available:

Installation

Hammerglass mirror glass is mounted with through screws, attachment points, or clamp fasteners. The drilling can be done at the factory or on-site. When installing with adhesive or silicone, Hammerglass AB should be consulted for the selection of the appropriate product. For larger areas (~1500x2000 mm), the Hammerglass Reflect should be pre-glued to a flat surface to achieve the best optical effect. The attachment of the framed mirror is done using a continuous screw.  The reflection in Hammerglass Reflect may not be 100% distortion-free depending on the wall condition. 

* It is recommended to use Hammerglass Reflect in sizes up to 1 m², depending on the intended use of the mirror. Hammerglass Reflect features a scratch-resistant, chemical-resistant mirror surface and is designed to withstand external influences. Since the base material is softer than conventional mirror glass, distortions in the reflection may occur in Reflect starting from a size of 1 m². INTECH-ICS AG does not guarantee Reflect in sizes over 1 m². Hammerglass Mirrors are recommended for public restrooms, changing rooms, sports facilities, elevators, prisons, and psychiatric institutions where protection against vandalism or glass breakage is required.
