New lifting window for the Grindelwald Terminal station
INTECH-ICS AG was able to supply Grindelwald Infrastruktur AG with six new lifting windows for ticket sales. Customers and staff can communicate with each other optimally through these lifting windows. INTECH-ICS AG would like to thank everyone involved for this valuable order. Together with the Grindelwald-Männlichen gondola lift (GGM), the Jungfrau Railways are implementing the V-Bahn generation project to secure the long-term future of tourism in the entire Jungfrau region. After 18 months of construction, the GGM can begin operations on schedule. The new building brings enormous advantages, especially for winter sports enthusiasts: With 111 gondolas, the transport capacity has doubled from 900 to 1800 guests per hour. Time-consuming queues are now a thing of the past. The journey with the modern 10-person gondolas up to the mountain station, located 2225 meters above sea level, will now only take 19 minutes instead of the previous 30 minutes.
