New locking facility in Friborg station
SBB CFF FFS and INTECH-ICS AG have been working on new locker systems for customers for years. The latest locker system is now in Fribourg.
Customers can now deposit their luggage – whether small or large bags – centrally at the station. The lockers are handled centrally via a payment point.
It accepts CHF coins and the most common credit cards. A big advantage is that the lockers can be operated without a key. A receipt with a barcode is created, which can be used to unlock the selected locker.
If a ticket is lost, there is no need to replace the lock, but SBB employees have the option of printing a duplicate for a fee so that the customer can redeem their luggage again.
