New lockers in the RHB train station Thusis
The Rhaetian Railway RhB and the company INTECH-ICS AG have been working for years on the new locker systems for public transport customers. The RhB's newest locker system is now located in Thusis station at the main entrance to platform 1.
Customers can deposit their luggage – whether small or large bags – centrally at the station (at the ticket counter). The lockers are operated centrally via a payment point.
It accepts CHF coins. A big advantage is that the lockers can be operated without a key. A receipt is created with a QR code that can be used to open the selected locker again.
If a ticket is lost, there is no need to replace the lock. The RhB staff on site can print out a duplicate for a fee so that the customer can claim their luggage.
