Another attempted break-in shook a business near a highway. For the umpteenth time, burglars tried to gain entry into the premises by reversing a car and a pallet against the glass entrance door. However, this time the door resisted thanks to a special glazing. "We know that our location is exposed, as it is easy to flee from here. Since our move in 2010, there have already been several incidents," explains the manager of the affected business. After a previous break-in, where the then-door glazing gave way to the thieves, a decision was made to install Hammerglass Add-On on the outside. Since then, no one has been able to break into the business in this way.

Break-in attempt unsuccessful

"It is a very good product, as we can confirm after this break-in attempt.Four individuals attempted to pry open the door and window with a car and a pallet, also using crowbars. However, although the lower wooden panel of the door gave way, they were unable to break the windows or gain entry into the building," the managing director continued.

When asked how he feels watching the surveillance videos, the managing director responds: "Of course, one is angry and frustrated by such behavior. At the same time, it is also satisfying to see that our security measures are working. You can almost read how surprised the burglars were when they failed. Time is the greatest enemy of a burglar, and the longer you hold them up, the more likely they are to give up." Thanks to modern alarm systems, the police were quickly alerted and were able to intervene.
