DCW Submersible DC to DC LVDT Displacement Transducer

These sensors are used for displacement/position measurement. They carry out an accurate position measurement of the movement of the armature (the sliding part) relative to the body of the displacement sensor.
This transducer uses the LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) principle, which means it is probably the most robust and reliable type of position sensor on the market. The strength of the LVDT sensor principle is that there is no electrical contact across the position sensing element of the transducer, which means clean data, infinite resolution and a very long lifetime for the user of the sensor.
Our DC/DC LVDT transducer has all the benefits of the LVDT sensing principle with the added convenience of integrated LVDT electronics allowing DC power supply and DC output. As an option we can offer a 4-20mA 2-wire connection to the transducer on some models.
Our submersible displacement transducers are designed to take measurements while immersed in suitable fluids. Fluids that are non-magnetic can flood the anchor tube without affecting the operation of the transducer.
This series of displacement sensors is available as either unguided, captive or spring-loaded versions.
