Built-in microphone 480 - Excellent transmission in every situation
Developing a microphone that offers a full range of functions despite its compact design is a technical masterpiece. The challenge is doubled when this microphone is intended for use outdoors, where it has to withstand all kinds of weather conditions. With the MIC 480, Commend has brilliantly solved precisely this problem: This microphone is specially designed to transmit the human voice in the highest quality and at the same time withstand all weather conditions.
Rain and moisture can have a significant impact on the performance of a microphone. That's why the MIC 480 has a specially designed housing that repels rainwater. Thanks to the intelligent design, the microphone uses the effect of surface tension to direct accumulated water around the microphone opening. But it goes even further: the special housing geometry optimizes the frequency response for human voices, thereby further increasing speech intelligibility.
With its wide range of possible uses, for example in parking column intercoms, vending machines or elevators or as an external microphone for counter intercom systems, the MIC 480 is ideally equipped for almost all existing intercom systems - and also for future developments. The consistently high demand for two decades is testament to the functionality of the design and the reliability of this compact microphone. Experience the quality and performance of the MIC 480 - a microphone that makes no compromises when it comes to durability and sound quality.
