The sensor provides an analog, radiometric voltage output with an amplitude of 0..5 Vdc or 0.5 to 4.5 Vdc proportional to the angular position of the shaft. The sampling principle of the sensor is based on a magnetic sampling principle. The potentiometer consists of two separate parts: the sensing unit and the magnet itself. The sampling is contactless without wear parts. Therefore, the lifespan of the sensor is significantly higher compared to conventional potentiometers.

The potentiometer is powered by a 5Vdc supply and is available with an axial cable outlet. The length of the cable can be specified when ordering.The sensor has a diameter of only 22 millimeters, making it useful for applications where space is critical.

The active angle of the sensor, z.B. the range in which the scale end value (0..5Vdc) is displayed, can be configured at the time of ordering. This means that the scale end value can be provided between 20º and 360º depending on the requirements of the application.
