Ultra slim safety relay MINOS

These extremely compact safety relays with a width of only 6 mm pursue one goal:

• Variants for numerous applications (monitoring of emergency stop buttons, protective doors and light grids as well as for safe contact reinforcement of safe outputs (e.g. safe PLC outputs) on machines and systems.)
• Up to PL e / Cat. 4 / SIL 3

All modules are also certified for use in combustion systems in continuous operation according to EN 50156-1 and EN 746-2.

The modules are certified for use in the process industry in accordance with IEC 61511-1.

MINOS SD: safety emergency stop relay with relay outputs

The super-compact MINOS SD safety relays are ideal for high switching loads of up to 6 A, AC 250 V and potential-free switching.

A large number of applications are possible for the products, from classic emergency stop and protective door monitoring to Light curtains through to contact expansion of safe PLC outputs.

The product group is type-tested up to Cat. 4 / PL e according to EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL 3 according to IEC 62061 / IEC 61508 and also meets the requirements for furnaces and process furnaces according to EN 50156-1 and EN 746-2 as well as the IEC 61511-1 of the process industry.

MINOS SD1E

The super-compact safety emergency stop relay for monitoring emergency stop buttons, protective doors and light grids on machines and systems.

MINOS SD1K

The super-compact, safe coupling relay for safe contact reinforcement of safe outputs (e.g. safe PLC outputs) on machines and systems.

MINOS SL: Safety modules with semiconductor outputs

The wear-free, safe semiconductor outputs enable the realization of the highest safety level independent of the switching cycles, which is particularly advantageous with high demand rates. Despite the minimal width, all modules of the MINOS SL series have an I/O status display including an error LED. This provides a high level of diagnostic capability, making installation and maintenance easier.

SLxE

Variant for maximum requirements up to Cat. 4/PL e (according to EN ISO 13849-1) and SIL 3/SILCL 3 (according to IEC 61508, EN 62061). Test pulses at the safe output enable error detection during operation.

SLxD

Variant for requirements up to Cat. 3/PL d (according to EN ISO 13849-1) and SIL 2/SIL CL 2 (according to IEC 61508, EN 62061). No test pulses at the safe output. Particularly suitable for controlling sensitive actuators.
