It is often necessary to secure large areas of danger where the use of protective doors and emergency stop buttons is not possible. Barrier ropes in connection with pull-rope switches are an effective alternative. Examples are extensive production islands or conveyor belts. The rope is attached to the rope pull switches at both ends. In the event of danger, the system can be safely locked and switched off immediately by pulling at any point on the tensioned cable. Even if the cable breaks, the switches ensure that the machine stops immediately. This status remains locked until the reset button is pressed when the cable is correctly tensioned again. There are different variants for different rope lengths. An additional emergency stop button can be mounted on either side of the switches.
