TBox RM2 RTU

The TBox RM2 is a compact remote module for devices and sensors and is the industrial remote I/O expansion solution for the TBox LT2. TBox RM2 is the remote I/O extension module for the TBox LT2. It is ideal for applications across a wide range of industries including broadcast and telecom, power management, oil and gas, water and transportation, among others. The RM2 module easily connects to a variety of end devices (motors, pumps, flow meters and pressure transmitters) on RTUs and PLCs via Ethernet networks or RS485. The TBox RM2 supports Modbus RTU (slave), Modbus TCP/IP (slave) and can be connected to a variety of external devices such as radios and fiber optic switches. The main advantages:

  • Compact industrial DIN rail package.
  • Ethernet, USB 2.0, RS232 and RS485 ports.
  • Mixed I/O configurations up to 26 points.
  • The operating temperature range is -40°C to +70°C.
  • Certified for use in Class 1, Division 2 areas.
